GSD Refrigerated Leasing Inc. has immediate openings for highly motivated transport refrigeration mechanics. Our company is a well-established organization dedicated to providing quality service within the transportation industry.  Training and knowledge in the areas of transport refrigeration or equivalent work experience is a plus.

In this position you will:

  • Service Technicians perform prescribed, routine maintenance procedures on Thermo King, Carrier & Zanotti refrigeration systems.
  • Duties may include but are not limited to: performing preventative maintenance, Compressor change assists and case-by case repairs.
  • Acquire knowledge through on the job training, which includes new product developments, service bulletins and issues.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures including OSHA and any local authorities governing requirements.
  • Complete necessary documents (work tickets and timesheets) and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Must be able to complete necessary customer paperwork and invoicing requirements.
  • Maintain and manage truck inventory in an accurate, neat and orderly manner.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Follow branch policies and procedures
Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • EPA Certification.
  • HVAC/R with minimum 1 years commercial experience.
  • Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends as required.
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification.
